The remodel and addition of the Haskell Township Library, a project started by Bev, Erma Lea, and I about 7 years ago, and continued by Deb, Paul, and I for the past the years... And it is almost finished!

Ten Dinners!

I went to a Wildtree food prep party tonight and came home with ten meals all ready to freeze and pull out on a busy night. Awesome! I am going to host a party Feb. 12 and guests will make 10 meals ready to freeze and throw in the crockpot. It was a lot of fun to do the food prep and talk to friends... And it only took about an hour!

Hannah's Pet Peeves

Hannah gave a project talk at 4-H tonight on commonly misused or misspelled words. She took a "self-determined" project this year on Creative Writing. We learned that it drives her nuts when people misspell "definitely."

A gas leak caused a home in Sublette to burn down after an explosion. Two girls and a man were flown to Wichita. We spent the day praying and hoping they will be okay.

Got Milk?

We do... Goat milk, that is. Hannah slept way late this morning, and the goats, Padma and Amelia, were eager to be milked. Out it's amazing to me that the milk tastes like any other milk, but doesn't make us feel ill like cow milk does.

New New Year's Tradition?

We met my parents for New Year's weekend at a hotel in Garden City, enjoying swimming and exchanging gifts. The kids had a great time this morning playing with new toys from Grandma and Grandpa. I think we should do this every year!
