Honor Band
Noah was chosen to participate in the sixth grade honor band at Garden City Community College. Led by the band director from Oklahoma Panhandle State University, it culminated in an eight-selection concert for the public.

Lemon rosemary chicken

Writer's Nest
Hannah does all of her writing and most of her schoolwork from her "nest," a bottom bunk hidden from view by blankets, and also occupied by her trusty dog, Seamus.

Joplin
I had the privilege of hearing the Superintendent of Joplin Schools speak today on the tornado, crisis management, and recovery. Southwest Plains Regional Service Center hosted this wonderful presentation. Very moving, and motivating!
